The District of Nyamagabe has helped the vulnerable groups in various ways including the following:

• Building houses for the victims of the 1994 genocide because most of them didn't have good houses to live in.
• Building houses for orphans especially those that lost their parents in the 1994 genocide
• To teach the disabled some income generating activities especially in technical skills.
