The district trained Local Defense personnel and plans are underway to train others by the end of this year. The security of people and their property should also be maintained and the security of genocide survivors should be guaranteed and those who perpetuate it should be severely punished. There is a program to help all the sectors in the district to be able to achieve their performance contracts by meeting with them twice in each semester and solving the problems of and settling all the cases still pending. The district has been teaching people laws concerning land and corruption. The district follows up the implementation of the household performance contracts and rewards the household that achieved its contract in each village. There is also a program to help women cooperatives improve there capacities and getting access to credit facilities so that at least there should be one cooperative in each sector that functions well. |
