From 14^th to 15^th February 2023, twelve students from RDF Command and Staff College accompanied by the course facilitators visited Nyamagabe District to learn about implementation of health policies.

It is part of the students’ research which would help depict a general image of healthcare services and health policies in Rwanda.

On 14th the team, District officials presented to them status on institutional strengthening of health facilities in Nyamagabe and held exchanges on the healthcare system and challenges this sector still faces. 

Accompanied by District Mayor, Hildebrand Niyomwungeri, on 15^th, they visited Kigeme Hospital and Kitabi Health Center where they were briefed about healthcare services provision and also interacted with patients on experience at the facilities.
