Nyamagabe

 

Nyamagabe District is located in the Southern Province of Rwanda. It lies between Huye and Nyamasheke Districts in the southwestern part of the country. The district was established in 2006 following the administrative reform that dissolved the former Gikongoro Province. Nyamagabe District is composed of seventeen sectors, namely: Buruhukiro, Cyanika, Gatare, Kaduha, Kamegeri, Kibirizi, Kibumbwe, Kitabi, Mbazi, Mugano, Musange, Musebeya, Mushubi, Nkomane, Gasaka, Tare, and Uwinkingi.
